Free motion embroidery is a fusion of art and sewing, and favours the skills of an artist over a sewer. Here, I have designed a flower display, transferred it onto linen canvas, applied felt remnants, then 'line drawn' in black thread. This is done through lowering the teeth on the machine and with a special foot, it allows the designer to 'draw' a picture. The picture is then cut to size for the intended frame. This specific frame is a wall mounted deep boxed frame measuring 15cm x15cm. Within the colour range specified, the order may change slightly from picture to picture to offer a subtle difference and interest. Furthermore, due to the specific technique of free motion embroidery, no 2 pictures with match exactly but they will be very similar.
The picture can be purchased without the frame so you can use your own frame.
